		<description>It is a great paradox, but I think that one who takes life in murder should lose his own life in most cases.  This penalty actually values life more, because it puts a more grave consequence on the taking of life through murder.</description>

on the same topic a while back in which I referred readers to the EU’s position on death penalty and Amnesty International’s Global Appeal, it was shocking to find out that China had executed at least more than 1718 individuals in 2008 alone, and with great percentage of that coming from China’s minority groups.  It’s nice to learn that China is now working towards abolishing it, hope it is sincere.</description>
