It doesn't matter if it is Australia, New Zealand, Japan's Hokkaido or the Danish Greenland isle. I think in Taiwan it is even worse, because the Han Chinese are such ignorant to them. Then I was in Ali mountain. A chief of tribe told me there:"The Han Chinese no matter if DPP or KMT or who ever just want our land and women." They are a minority group and will be kicked out treated as one for a long time. Former president Chen (and current jail bird) got a price by the EU for improving rights for Indigenous people in Taiwan, but what he did was just normalizing their status. Well the US didn't want to talk about native American rights before end of the cold war, then they had they dig out the Uranium from the mines for today's nuclear weapons paid with their lives.
