People in Taiwan, mostly Chinese decendants, do not have human rights problems. They enjoy freedom just as other democratic countries in the world and they in recent years has increasingly in favor of reducing tension and opening dialogue with people in Mainland China. That is why KMT was elected back into power in the most recent elections in Taiwan. The KMT now is not the KMT 30 years ago.
International human rights group have always tried to drive wedge between Taiwan and China. Maybe it's time to Look in the mirror and check it's own biased motives.
