Photo in Sky Couch magazine

A photo I took last year in Danshui has been published in the June 2008 edition of Sky Couch, the inflight magazine of China Airlines (中華航空). The photo accompanies a trilingual (English, Chinese and Japanese) story titled "Scenic cycling".
The article by Rick Charette notes, "there were less than 100km of designated bike routes on the island in 1997, rising to 1,215km in 2006. By 2010 the government plans to have 2,600km." The article details five great routes to ride. They are Taipei outskirts, Yangmingshan, the east coast, north coast and outer islands.

Well done. If you don’t mind me asking, what is the current rate that China Air are paying?

Congrats David – That is a great honor and very deserving from the looks of it. Taipei’s growing number of bike routes have certainly helped me exercise more.
I don’t suppose there is an online version of the article? I’d love to read about the recommended routes.
