QuaChee: The Taipei Film Festival is one of two major film festivals in Taiwan. The other being the Golden Horse Film Festival. The Taipei Film Festival is more independent and eclectic in its nature and tries to encourage up and coming film makers.

Saw quite a fair bit of the promotions of the event. Too bad Im not staying long enough in Taiwan for it, otherwise may make an effort to see some of the best local movies :)

Just wondering is this event quite a big prestigious event there?
