MRT maintenance car

Taipei MRT maintenance car

I saw a a maintenance car in the Taipei MRT for the first time today. It was parked on an unused platform at Guting Station. I saw it in the morning, but didn't have time to take a photo. It was still there when I came back in the afternoon so I snapped a few shots of it.

While talking about trains, the Kaohsiung MRT is supposed to be opening at the end of the year. When it opens I will have to head down south to take a ride.

The stripe along the sides of Taipei’s MRT trains is blue while the stripe along the sides of Kaohsiung’s MRT trains is green… was this intentional?

I think someone, somewhere is sending out subliminal messages. Poagao made a similar observation about the HSR.

Are there only blue and green in the Taiwanese pallet? Experiencing train envy here in Taichung. Green with envy?? :P
