I agree with you that the ceramics museum is one of the best on the island. I'm not a huge fan of ceramics by any means, but I love that museum. Also, I forgot to get back to you on a meet-up near Shida. I got a pretty random schedule now that I'm gearing up to move back stateside in a couple weeks. What time do you have class during the day?
