Michael, I will try to do the links at least once a week. I will contact you by e-mail to discuss how we might be able to coordinate it better to avoid unnecessary overlap.
The header photo was taken from the roof of a building near Songshan Station. I used my Fujifilm s5500 and stitched together 4 photos to create the image.

Did you process the image? It doesn’t have significant light-dark variation. Very sweet work.
Sounds good on the daily links. I’ll cross-link to you whenever you post them. Drive more traffic here and vice versa too.

Good idea about the cross linking. I will do it too. I just sent you an e-mail.
I used a program called Arcsoft Panorama Maker 3 to create the image. Any processing was done automatically by the software. I have never learnt how to use Photoshop and I am sure with a little skill and work that image could look much better.

Poagao’s blog isn’t completely set-up, unfortunately. When I helped Franc move his blog from Blogger to Wordpress, it couldn’t have taken more than half an hour or so, but this time things have been much more difficult.
One problem is that Google’s update to Blogger broke all the import tools and plugins, except wordpress.com, which has managed to keep their migration tool up to date. For anyone else who wants to move to Wordpress, I’d suggest importing the blogspot blog to wordpress.com, then exporting that (as a WP blog), and importing the resulting file to the new blog. That will work for most people.
Unfortunately, the main pjournal blog was so huge that Poagao’s new WP blog couldn’t handle the import, and I had to write a ruby script to parse it. Everything should look okay, but we’re still finding little problems here and there. If you see anything wrong with Poagao’s new blog, please email me or comment on the entry I wrote about it on my site.
Sorry it’s been such a pain, TC!

Thanks for the mention…Mark has spent a lot of time and effort on my site and does not need to apologize; I should be sorry for six years of bad code!

Great! This is what we need. More Taiwan-related links! Maybe we can simply alternate — any day that you do this, I won’t, and vice versa. That will save overlap.
Love your header pick. Where is it taken from, and with what camera?
