The Green House: ecologically sustainable building in Taipei

I discovered an interesting story about a "green house" in Taipei in the April 2006 issue Verve, EVA Air's inflight magazine. The Green House (祿房子) is a house that has had various features added to make it more ecologically sustainable. The article was written in Chinese so I didn't understand all the details, but from the article and the photos I was able to figure out approximately where the house was and I went out to find it today.

The Green House is located on the National Taiwan University campus. The address is: Lane 42, Section 4 Keelung Road (台北市基隆路四段42巷). The house is right beside Keelung Road.

The house is in the experimental farm of NTU
